Prayers from the Heart: Jamie Geller and Yad Ezra V’Shulamit’s Children at Rachel’s Tomb
Nov 24, 2024
Jamie Geller recently accompanied the children of Yad Ezra V’Shulamit at one of Israel’s most holy sites, Rachel’s Tomb. As the anniversary of our matriarch Rachel’s passing approached, Jamie joined the children as they came together to offer their prayers and thanks to those who continue to support their journey through life’s challenges.
A Moment of Spiritual Reciprocity
On this special occasion, Jamie and the children joined together in a powerful prayer for personal blessings and for the well-being of Yad Ezra V’Shulamit’s donors whose generous support has made a true difference in their lives. It was a moment of reciprocity between the donors and the children, in which every act of kindness was met with prayers for blessings in return.
Yad Ezra V’Shulamit ‘s children benefit daily from the organization’s services and opportunities. During this gathering, these children received over 500 prayer requests from sponsors and donors who have asked for their prayers to be conveyed in this holy place. Each request was approached with deep appreciation and gratitude, and each name was mentioned with respect. Offered with purity and depth, these children’s prayers are believed to have a special place before God.
Connecting to Gratitude Worldwide
Within the ancient stones of Rachel’s tomb, the voices of these children sang together in prayer for hope. They prayed for peace, for the well-being of their donors, for the safety of Israel’s brave soldiers, and for healing and relief to be granted to those suffering across Israel. Jamie Geller broadcasted these moments live, inviting supporters around the world to join this inspiring event.
“This is our thank you to you,” Jamie said during the live broadcast, telling supporters how these prayers were expressed with gratitude for the physical nourishment and support offered by Yad Ezra V’Shulamit’s donors. The children, many of whom receive a daily hot meal from the organization, were hoping to touch the lives of those who make this support possible.
