On the holiday of Sukkot, it is a commandment to rejoice
Sukkot is a seven-day holiday packed with festive meals and time with the family.
But the Torah tells us: we cannot rejoice alone. We must share our happiness with the Levite, the stranger, the widow and the orphan. (Deuteronomy 16:14–15)
Before you set your own table, help set theirs.
Give widows, orphans, and poor families in Israel food for their holiday tables. Fresh fruits and vegetables, chicken, fish, challah, grape juice, and so much more.
When you bring joy to those in need, may you be blessed with abundant joy in return.
Feed widows and orphans for Sukkot
